This section provides you with the latest articles about the events shaping today’s market.

For articles about the Canadian market, click the Canadian flag . This is the default. For U.S. articles, click the U.S. flag . Clicking a flag in the Commentary section only changes the setting for this section. To globally change the settings on this page, click a flag in the top right corner of the page.

Canadian news and commentary articles come from Canadian Press and Thomson Reuters. The Canadian Morning News Call is also displayed every morning.

U.S. news and commentary articles come from Thomson Reuters and Briefing.com. The U.S. Morning News Call and The Day Ahead are displayed every morning.

Click the Sources dialog box to select articles from different source feeds. For Canada, select from the following:

Click the optional Keyword dialog box to search by Keyword or Symbol. Keyword is the default.

After you have selected how to search, type a word or symbol in the empty search field and click GO. The resulting articles are displayed. To see only the headline of the article or to see the headline and first paragraph, click the view headlines and 1^st paragraph or view headline only text (default).

                 

 

Click the title of the article to open the article and push the list of headlines to the right side of the page. For articles that are less than 1 day old, the text will be orange. For articles that are at least 1 day old, text will be grey.
